CRI Advantage is a local, Boise-based ServiceNow partner looking for a ServiceNow Software Developer with experience in the customization and maintenance of ServiceNow products. The candidate will be primarily responsible for configuring and developing on the enterprise ServiceNow platform. The preferred consultant will have industry experience developing and integrating solutions utilizing ServiceNow from requirements gathering, configuration/customization, through testing to final implementation. The candidate will be developing in the latest version of ServiceNow using a variety of ServiceNow modules and capabilities including but not limited to the Customer Service Module.
The ServiceNow Software Developer will work closely with business and IT teams to gather input for ongoing business needs for ServiceNow development, configuration, implementation and support. The candidate will be working with business owners, service owners, process owners and business analysts to resolve application issues and defects. The candidate will have an understanding of ServiceNow functionality and Engagement Methodology. As new technologies emerge and affect ServiceNow, the candidate is expected to learn these applications very quickly and resolve any problems involved in integrating new applications with client systems.
Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules and configure Application UI and Configure Workflow.
Collaborate effectively with ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests.
Build workflows and write automated scripts.
Build and deploy required enhancements to the ServiceNow Platform.
Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible.
Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools.
Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, stage, testing, sandbox, and production environments.
Participate in ongoing production support and end user support.
Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting, implementing bug fixes and root cause analysis.
Follow Change Management process.
Work in collaboration with ServiceNow development team.
Experience developing on the ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request etc.
Experience with ITOM, Discovery and Orchestration.
Experience administering a ServiceNow instance including the delegation of groups, modifications of CMS, workflows, business rules, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, catalog items and updates of all other existing solutions requiring revisions.
Experience in all aspects of Platform Administration, Design, Development and implementation of Software Solutions.
Experience integrating third-party software and APIs with ServiceNow.
Experience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST, Bootstrap, AngularJS and JSON), System and Process Automation, and possess a good understanding of ITIL V3.
Skill to effectively analyze and solve problems.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public.
Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience as required for the specific job level.
ServiceNow Application Developer or ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification is desired.
