What we're looking for:

The security engineering job family exists to ensure that internally developed products meet the required level of security robustness expected by the industry. Through the application of Secure Development Lifecycle practices, pen testing and knowledge of compliance standards, the security engineering manager guides and partners with development teams across the company to help safeguard all of Citrix's products from the threat of infiltration and cyber-attacks.

As part of Citrix's Global Security Organization, you will manage cyber security events across Citrix. You effectively coordinate with teams that span offices, time zones, business units, and products to drive resolution to complex security issues. You are proficient in cyber investigations, security incident response, digital forensics, and event log analysis. Your ability to lead teams through ambiguous and untidy situations will be a key contributor to your team's success. Manage the resolution to a wide range of cyber security incidents

Provide management and oversight to analysts monitoring security events, responding to alerts, and tracking incidents

Perform analysis of log files, including forensic analysis of systems and hosts

Create and maintain Cyber Security Incident Response documentation, including playbooks, runbooks, policies, processes and procedures

Manage other investigative and incident response duties as assigned


Requires broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.Leadership & Talent Management Responsibility

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience

5 or more years of experience

Related certifications (GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, GNFA, A , Network , and/or Security )

Basic understanding of legal, regulatory and compliance requirements (PCI, HIPAA, SOX, etc.)

Exposure to SIEM event correlation or similar tool

Experience with scripting and log analysis tools

Strong communication and presentation skills along with the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
