Business Rules Developer - UHC M&R IS (851899)

Positions in this function will author and test rules using Redhat Process Automation Manager in an agile environment. In addition, positions in this function are expected to build and maintain relationships with the Operations teams and work with the Business Analysts to understand the requirements in order to author the rules in the Rules Engine. This position is also expected to diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools.

Review and Analyze business rule requirements to understand what the business needs are
Design, author, unit test, and implement business rules requirements using the Redhat PAM tool
Create and maintain fact models, process models and decision tables
Create rules lists and decision trees to support rules/decisions
Scenario test using JSON and Postman
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback
Able to analyze root-cause issue, problem solve and provide key recommendations for issues and problems encountered
Recognize and analyze gaps between current state and desired outcome
Able to engage functional partners to effectively deliver on each project
Communicate potential impacts and risks associated with implementing proposed solutions to business partners and relevant Stakeholders
Ability to function in a multi-project environment with changing priorities

2 years rules coding or coding using Object Oriented programming languages like Java, VB.NET, or C#
Technical skills including solid understanding of software development methodologies and principles
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and/or equivalent education and experience
Experience with JSON or XML
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to a varied audience
Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
Strong oral and written communications and presentation skills
